Iconic Lettering!
Some celebrities or famous people are noted for one special well-known trademark, a thing they do or object they are dealing with.
„Patrik Svensson is an illustrator working with clients worldwide from his studio in Gothenburg, Sweden. Among others, Patrik has worked with brands like Starbucks, IKEA and Sony Music. His editorial/publishing clients include The New Yorker, Wall Street Journal and Simon & Schuster.“
Patrik Svensson took some of them and put them in their names. For instance the „G“ in Vincent van Gogh name is replaced with the ear the artist cut off, Coco Chanel’s „l“ now is needle and thread or the „t“ in Peter Pan is the Silhouette of himself.
Every piece of the series is unique and is suitable as logo for the respective celebrity. Very subtile and memorable.
Great idea worked out perfectly. More of them are very wlecome! 😉
